My name is Agnieszka. I’m thirty years old and was born in Legnica, Poland. I moved to St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada with my parents in the mid-eighties. I have one younger brother whose favorite past-time is driving me up the wall (he’s a Taurus).

I am currently on a year-long vacation in South Africa with my boyfriend, except he’s not really on vacation. The company he works for back in Canada sent him here, and I tagged along. I spend my days sight-seeing, reading, drinking tea on the balcony while spying on our neighbors, cleaning & cooking, and killing bugs (we have a lot of them here!).

Back home, I was a receptionist at a massage and reflexology clinic. I also dabbled in photography a little bit, as a career. I have always had a habit of job surfing and have never stayed at a job for more than two years — and the two years was a one-time thing. I lose interest quickly, when it comes to work, and am still unsure as to what I would like to do when I grow up.

I took five years off after high school before going to college, and the main reason I attended was to get everyone off my case. I majored in Photography (because it was a hobby, and it was easy), and though I had a pretty solid understanding of the subject prior to going to school, I did learn quite a bit while I was there. Photography would seem like the logical career choice, but I’m too self-critical to tolerate my own work.

I have a wide variety of interests, some of which include: painting, yoga, meditation, hiking (when my strange itching condition allows it), travel, reading, cosmology, quantum physics, ping-pong (I’m quite good!), photography, web design, doing laundry (which makes me ridiculously happy and most likely stems from my anal-retentive nature) and learning how to play my boyfriend’s guitar.

I recently became interested in health and nutrition, and decided that I would like to become a vegan. I gave up dairy on Nov. 29, 2009, and have omitted almost all meat from my diet. I currently still consume fish, but will be giving that up as well in the next few weeks. I hope to be 100% vegan by Jan.01, 2010.
